Layla’s Beautiful Baby Shower!

Blogging has been on a hiatus for the past few weeks, but for good reason! We have been extremely busy, even in the ‘wedding off-season’, and are getting all caught up from the past few months…so we will be posting numerous posts in the upcoming days/weeks to show everyone what we have been up to!

First up…Layla Harper’s baby shower! Layla is the first child of Chandra, one of our principal designers/photographers, and her husband, Derrick. They decided not to find out the gender until the actual moment of delivery (the best surprise you could ever have!), so since we didn’t know whether they would have a boy or a girl, we decided to decorate for both! The names they had picked out for a boy and girl were Drake and Layla, so we set up two different tables of food, one with boyish foods like nacho cheese & dirt cups and the other with girly foods like tea sandwiches and cake balls! We had so much fun with the shower and creating the invitation!

Take a look!

Reena & Nathan November Wedding!

We had the joy of working with Reena and Nathan for their engagement shoot back in June and couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding! What a perfect couple! Their wedding at the First United Methodist Church was absolutely beautiful the reception at the Fort Worth Club was a blast. We wish you two a fantastic 2012 and a blessed life together!

2011 Fall Mini Sessions!

So if you remember, we held a full day of Fall Mini Sessions a few weeks ago…and we’d like to give a big thanks to all the families who came out! We had an amazing time with everyone and hope to do another mini session again! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And don’t forget to keep checking the blog for Chirstmas Cards!

Ali Bridal Portraits

In all seriousness, have you ever seen such a beautiful bride? Ali is absolutely gorgeous and has wore one of the prettiest dresses we have ever seen.  We have been dying to post these!  Wedding pictures of Ali and Blake to come soon…!

Coy & Debbie’s Georgetown Wedding!

We are so excited to finally post these beautiful pictures of Coy and Debbie’s wedding! These two lovebirds were such a joy to work with and held their cereony in the cutest little white chapel in good ‘ole Georgetown, Texas!  Debbie looked absolutely stunning, despite getting food poisoning the night before (you could never tell!).  The black and white color palette with pops of yellow was so classic and fun!  Congratulations! We wish you many blessings in your life together!

Claire Turns 30!

So recently we designed/created a logo for Claire Roberts’ new company, “August Anthology”.  Claire created August Anthology to give others the avenue to tell the untold stories of relatives and friends by talking with them and using those responses to create a book!

You can check out her site here.  We knew Claire and Russell from church, so we were more than delighted when we were asked to photograph her 30th birthday celebration!  The adorable party, styled by Claire’s good friend, Kim Williamson, was simply amazing, with a clever theme and all…complete with candy cigarettes, vintage cars, roulette tables, and a beautiful (and delicious) cake!  All the guests came dressed to the 9’s in 1920’s attire, which made for some darling photo booth pics!

We had such a great time and I hope Claire had a perfect 30th birthday!

Mimi and Tony’s Beautiful Wedding!

We met Mimi a while back at the Unveiled Bridal Show earlier this year…and ever since we did her engagements,we’ve been looking forward to this wedding because these two are just so stinking cute! The ceremony was held at Perkins Chapel on SMU’s campus and couldn’t have been more perfect. The wedding was as beautiful as we expected and Mimi looked absolutely stunning!  We had so much fun at the wedding and wish Mimi and Tony all the best in their new life together!

Our Cutest New Addition!

These are very much long overdue, but worth the wait…we promise! We’d like to present the newest and most delicate member of our family…Ms. Irelynn Rae!

We were so blessed and lucky to have visited our sister, London, and her husband, Cole, in Phoenix the same weekend that she gave birth to this sweet bundle of joy. There was only a 4 day window before we had to fly back to Dallas, so this happened so perfectly.

Congratulations to our wonderful sister and brother-in-law…who are now proud parents of a healthy and gorgeous baby girl!

Ashton and Daniel Are Engaged!

One of our dearest friends, Ashton, became engaged a few weeks ago when her fiance, Daniel, proposed…by playing her a song he had written just for her and the particular moment! Our principal photographer, Aubrey, had the privilege of capturing this special moment by hiding in a closet to secretly snap pictures of this perfect moment! Congratulations you two…can’t wait for the wedding!

More From Our Pearl Harbor Themed Photoshoot!

Ok…so a while back we posted about our 1940’s / Pearl Harbor themed shoot that we did with EE-Photography and Events by Shelbi Rene. We promised more pictures…so here they are! We wanted to show more pictures of products that we provided for the shoot because we just are in love with the way the signs and paper products turned out. We couldn’t be more happy with this shoot. Erin & Shelbi are both so talented and we thought it was a great team effort! It is a joy to work with them and we can’t wait to do it again!
